Successful completion of this course entitles Students to a Certificate II in Security Operations, a Statement of Attainment for Crowd Control and Bodyguarding and a Statement of Attainment for First Aid. Prerequisites There are no pre-requisites for this qualification however, Students must be over the age of 18. Have no recorded conviction of a disqualifying offence within the previous 10 years, or an unrecorded finding of guilt of a disqualifying offence in the previous five years Not be considered a risk to public safety Other Information The Office of Fair Trading charge $438.25 to apply for a Security Providers Licence and Criminal History Check. This is not included in the course fee. You cannot gain employment as a Security Officer or Crowd Controller until you have received your licence (approx 3 "“ 4 weeks after application) Security Courses CPP20207 Certificate II in Security Operations CPP30407 Certificate III in Security Operations CPP40707 Certificate IV in Security Operations Classes held weekly. Evening and weekend courses available as well. First AID certificate included in Cert II. We also help in finding jobs for the right candidates Other Courses Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping). Certificate III in Aged Care Certificate IV in Training and Assessment We offer training in the new qualifications.
